DAY 1 - Departure 
Your Exotic Journey to Classical India begins as you depart from New York / Newark / Chicago aboard your Air India flight for Delhi.

If you prefer to travel from any other city or by any other airline, we will provide arrangements according to your requirements. 
 
DAY 2 - Delhi  
Arrive Delhi airport. A representative from Exotic Journeys will meet you outside the Immigration & Custom / Baggage claim area and escort you to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.
Overnight at : Taj Mahal, New Delhi

DAY 3 - Delhi 
Morning at leisure. Afternoon city tour visiting Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, explore the old city on an authentic Rickshaw around Chandni Chowk, massive Red Fort with light and sound show in the evening.

DAY 4 - Delhi 
Today you will visit the Presidential Palace, Parliament House, Jantar Mantar - the medieval observatory, the l6th century tomb of Mughal emperor Humayun, Raj Ghat and Shantivana - the memorials to Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, India Gate, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple.

DAY 5 - Agra
In the morning, transfer to Agra by private chauffer drive car. Rest of the day free for independent activities.

DAY 6 - Agra - Taj Mahal
Today you will explore the epic Taj Mahal - the monument of love, Agra Fort, Itemad-ud-daula and colorful local bazaars.

DAY 7 - Fatehpur Sikri - Ranthambore Tiger Project 
After breakfast, depart for Ranthambore en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the magnificent deserted capital of Mughal Empire. Late evening arrive at Ranthambore.
Overnight at : Oberoi Vanyavilas, Ranthambore

DAY 8 - Ranthambore Tiger Project
Morning and afternoon jungle safari. 
Ranthambore Tiger Reserve extends to over 220 square miles of forest with numerous valleys and flat hills in a picturesque surrounding. The tiger and leopard are the main predators found here. It is also home to cheetah, sambers, and the blue bull, found only in India. While our stay here we will have several jungle excursions accompanied by resident warden to view and photograph the wildlife.

DAY 9 - Ranthambore - Jaipur 
After morning jungle safari, travel to Jaipur - popularly known as Pink City and one of the most well planned cities of the world of its time. Its colorful bazaars, sandstone pink buildings, magnificent palaces reflect the past glory of this remarkable town.

DAY 10 - Amber Fort - Jaipur 
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, where rides on caparisoned elephants add to the ambiance to the fort. Amber Fort and its sandstone palaces are perched atop a hill near Jaipur. Within its precincts are Sheesh Mahal or chamber of mirrors reputedly the best in the world, Victory Hall and Pleasure Palace. City tour in the afternoon visiting Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), local colorful bazaars and Jantar Mantar Observatory.

DAY 11 - Udaipur 
Fly to Udaipur. Udaipur is interspersed with shimmering lakes, marble palaces and fountains. The Maharana’s Palace is the largest of its kind. It is remarkable for octagonal towers, brilliant multicolor mosaics of inlaid tiles, inlaid mirror work and exquisite paintings. Sahelion ki Bari is a fascinating garden, adorned by Lotus pool, a marble throne and finely sculptured cenotaphs. 
City tour in the afternoon.

DAY 12 - Udaipur - Ranakpur 
Morning excursion to Ranakpur. The cluster of temples at Ranakpur made of intricately sculpted white marble, come across as a marvelous feat of architecture. It may surprise visitors that these temples were built in 1460 but are so well preserved and the marble still sparkles. The main temple is supported by 1444 pillars, none of which are similarly carved. These temples house statues of Mahavira and other Jain saints.

DAY 13 - Mumbai (Bombay) 
Fly to Mumbai. Afternoon city tour visiting Hanging Gardens, Kamla Nehru Park, Gateway of India, National Museum and Crawford Market.

DAY 14 - Mumbai (Bombay) 
Morning boat excursion to Elephanta Caves, the 7th century cave-temples carved out of a hill rising from the Arabian Sea. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 15 - Mumbai - Homebound
Early morning departure for New York, Newark or Chicago. Arrive same day.
