DAY1 - Friday : ✈ Arrival in Venice, Italy

Arrive in Venice. A representative from Exotic Journeys will meet you at the arrival lounge and escort you to your hotel in Padua. Balance of the day at leisure.

DAY2 - Saturday : Padua and Vicenza

City tour of Padua, the city of Saint Anthony. Visit Saint Anthony Dom, The Squares Piazza dei Frutti, Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori, the Pedrocchi Caffè. In the Afternoon, visit of Vicenza, the city of Palladio, with its huge pedestrian area, and UNESCO designated site.

DAY3 - Sunday : Assisi

Departure to Assisi and stop at the La Verna Sanctuary. Founded by Saint Francis, this sanctuary is perched in an amazing setting in the forest on a high rocky promontory. In the Afternoon, arrive at the city of holy Francis of Assisi. He was the founder of the order of the Franciscans. Vist the historic town with its monastery and cathedral of Santa Maria Degli Angeli.

DAY4 - Monday : Assisi - Rome

Morning at leisure.

Transfer to Rome in the afternoon.

DAY5 - Tuesday - Rome and Vatican City

Vatican In the morning, 3-hour guided tour of the city of the Pope - the Vatican. There you will be able to see the St. Peter's Cathedral. You will also wander around St. Peter's Square and have the possibility to see where the pope's residence is located. In the afternoon you have free time to experience the Vatican on your own for example by visiting the most famous museum of the world: the Vatican museum. You can also visit the Sistine Chapel where you will find Michelangelo's most famous painting. Free time in Rome.

DAY6 - Wednesday: Rome

Pope Audience Today you will be part of the Pope Audience. There, you will have the opportunity to get really close to the Head of the Catholic Church. You will hear the pope give a speech and a prayer. In the afternoon, you visit one of the original catacombs of Rome where you will be able to find signs of early Christianity.

DAY7 - Thursday : Siena and Florence

Travel to Florence. Stop at Siena for a free walk along the narrow streets of the City of the Palio. Then, travel to Florence and 2 hours guided tour of the City, cradle of the Renaissance, visit of the Dom, Ponte Vecchio, Orsamichele Church, Palazzo Vecchio.

DAY8 - Friday : Florence – Verona - Departure

Transfer to Verona. Visit the Arche Scaligere, the house of Juliet.

Transfer to airport.

Transfer to airport. Depart on your onward journey.
