On this tour you will fly to the remote mountain airstrip at Lukla and trek to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar, high Yak pasture of Dingboche and monasteries and villages along the way. Everest, Langtang, Gauri Shanker, Ama Dablam, Lhotse peaks and an overview of Sherpa culture and villages without weeks of serious trek to the Everest base camp.

Day 2 |
Kathmandu |
City tour visiting Pashupatinath - One of the holiest Hindu shrines situated on the banks of the Holy Bagmati River. The richly ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga, (or phallic symbol) of Lord Shiva. This is also a cremation site for Hindus, where the dead bodies are burned with ritual ceremony on the banks of the holy river. Just a few minutes drive from Pashupatinath is Boudhanath which is one of the biggest stupas in the world. With its four pair of eyes in four cardinal directions, it keeps watch for righteous behaviour and human property.
In the afternoon we drive to Swayambhunath. Regarded as more than 2000 years old this stupa is situated at 77m/253ft above the level of the valley and thus has magnificent birdseye view of Kathmandu Valley. From Swayambhunath we drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square. With more than 50 temples and shrines within a few blocks, the square contains one of the most concentrated groupings of historical structures in the valley. This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu.

Day 3 |
Lukla |
Lukla (2,860m/ 9,383ft) / trek to Phakding (2,640m/ 8,661ft / 3 .5hrs.)
Hiking distance 7km / 4.3miles:
A 40 minute morning flight will take you to Lukla. After walking few minutes from Lukla airport, stop at a restaurant for tea break, books, internet facility. If you need some trekking gear then you can buy it here in Lukla.
We walk for 3 - 4 hours to reach Phakding through Chaurikharka, Chiplong, Thadokovi and Ghat. We can see spectacular Himalayan views from Chiplong and Thadokovi. The religion of the people of this region is Buddhism so we can see many monasteries, Maane and script are written on the rock in Tibetan language.

Namche Bazaar |
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft / 6hrs.)
Hiking distance 9km/ 5.6mi
We walk along the bank of Dudkoshi River for few hours, cross Dudhkoshi River bridge, take a steep route to Namche Bazaar. On a clear day, you can see Mount Everest from Thami Danda. We can see many beautiful mountains and water falls on the way. Namche is the biggest commercial area of the Everest Region, here we can find everything needed for Trekkers, like internet facility and ATM. Every Friday and Saturday local people set up a market until 1pm. People from nearby villages come and buy daily commodities. Bakery café and Pub are also available in Namche.
At Khumjung we can see a Monastery and the school made by Sir Edmund Hilary. During this trekking we will have a chance to see many beautiful mountains. You can also visit Sherpa Museum located in Namche. After a day hiking return to Namche, have dinner and overnight.

Day 5 |
Thyangboche |
Trek to Thyangboche (3,860m/12,664ft, 6 hrs approx.)
Hiking distance 9.5km/5.9mi:
Today the trail will lead you towards the view of Mt. Everest, then descends deep into the Dudh Kosi Valley; from here it ascends the right flank of the Dudh Kosi valley to Thyanboche Monastery. The monastery is called the spiritual centre of Khumbu region. During the trek we will see Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Everest and its surrounding peaks.

Day 6 |
Imja Khola Valley |
Trek to Imja Khola Valley
(3950m / 12606 Ft/ 5hrs app)
Today’s journey towards consists of a trek through forests filled with of a variety of lush trees - birch, conifers and rhododendron. This picturesque trail dips, crossing the Imja River.

Phunki Thangka |
Trek to Dingboche - Phunki Thangka
Dingboche (4,358m/14,297ft, 4 hrs app.)
Hiking distance 6.6km/6.5mi:
We will trek up to the highest altitude in this program. You will feel the altitude today and you will need to take your time to hike and enjoy the view along the way. Dingboche provides splendid views of Cholatse, Tawachee, Makalu and the huge south face of Lhotse peaks.

Jorsale |
Phunki Thangka – Jorsale
(2740m/12,620 ftt, 5 hrs app.)
Hiking distance 10.5km/6.5mi
Today’s trek will be to Khumjung, Namche Bazaar and then to Jorsale, a small village on the banks of Dudh Kosi river, just south of Namche Bazaar.

Lukla |
Jorsale – Lukla
We trek down through Benkar (2630m / 8765 ft) , Phakding (2610m / 8699 ft) and then climb up to Chaurikharka (3861m / 12667 ft) to Lukla.

Kathmandu |
Fly back to Kathmandu. On arrival we transfer to our hotel.
Today we have a day at leisure, and buffer time in case of flight changes from Lukla. Free time in Kathmandu.
